Festo has announced that automation specialist Wearside Pneumatics has won its ‘Premier Stockist of the Year’ award for outstanding performance in 2005. The award is presented to the company within the Festo Premier Stockist network that shows the highest level of commitment to strategic campaigns, demonstrable gains in operational efficiency, and the best sales growth of Festo products for the year.

 According to Stuart Gittins, Festo Sales Manager for Distributor and End-user Teams, “Wearside Pneumatics consistently achieves very high year-on-year sales growth, principally by providing an exceptional level of technical service to its local customer base in the north of England.”

This is the second award that Wearside Pneumatics has received from Festo – the company was also recently honoured for long service.

Washington-based pneumatic specialist, Wearside Pneumatics has been appointed as an Atlas Copco authorised compressor distributor, in the North- East of England.

Now a wholly owned subsidiary of Precision Pneumatics Ltd, Wearside Pneumatics has enjoyed a 30-year record of sales success as a major supplier of Festo components.

This new Atlas Copco distributorship will see Wearside responsible for all compressors and associated equipment such as dryers, filters, separators, drains, air receivers, pipeworking and installation.

Offering both specialist technical support for both pneumatics and compressed air Wearside Pneumatics is able to to provide all your compressed air solutions under one roof
